Warren Place is located on land leased from the William K. Warren Medical Research Center.  A portion of the ground lease income from the operation of Warren Place is used for operation of the William K. Warren Medical Research Center, a foundation in support of Saint Francis Hospital.

One Warren Place, the 20 story office tower, designed by Architects Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback and Associates, was opened in the fall of 1983. Next was the 19 story tower, Two Warren Place, opened in 1987.
